Our story
2017
A Vector cyber security capability maturity was conducted, and a strategic decision was made to invest in a Security Operation Centre (SOC) and build cyber security capabilities.
2018
Vector Limited’s data breach exposing PII was a catalyst to starting a far more comprehensive cyber security revitalisation program.
2021+
Four years into its cyber security journey, Vector’s cyber security protection for a critical infrastructure business has increased - and with VTS now on board, the capability can be deployed to benefit other similar businesses.
2020
Vector established VTS in 2020, to leverage the significant investments we have made to transform and digitise the Vector business and bring this new capability to market to support and enable other critical infrastructure providers in New Zealand.
